Computer software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDraw has moved book illustrations into a new dimension. The use of tablets and specialized software has provided the ability of drawing and painting directly in a computer which greatly facilitates the illustrating of a book. Traditional illustration techniques have made way now for the new modern illustration technology.
