The purpose of a business card is to quickly introduce a person, determine their role in an organization, or just make a creative statement. In order to fulfill its purpose a good business card design should always include the following minimum of information:
- Name of the person (and/or business)
- The persons title
- Contact information (phone, email address, web site, mailing address, etc.)
Any other information in the business card design is optional. There are some commonly accepted guidelines about the arrangement of the information on the business card but they are optional to follow.
